An Introduction

Hello! If you're like me, you've probably already wandered over to my profile to read my Mini Bio, but if you're not- The name's Firefly, or Iridesca-dracona if you're feeling formal. I'm a draconic, asexual, aro-spec, neopronoun-collecting alterhuman, and I have no idea how to use dreamwidth! A bit more about me below the cut:

More specifically, my kintype- which seems like a strange word to apply here, but I don't exactly know a better one- is my dragon OC, who belongs to a species of my own devising: the Lunightian Reef Dragon! To be honest, I'm still questioning my exact relationship with her, but right now it seems very likely to me that I am dragonkin. There's a lot of evidence pointing in that general direction for me, at least at the moment!

A few things about my OC (or, I suppose I should say, myself): I draw myself quite often, with varying quality. I am not yet sure if I will be sharing any of my art under this name, but I suppose time will tell! That wasn't really a "thing about my OC," so let me say some actual things to make up for it. I am an aquatic dragon, my species living in and around coral reefs typically. We are also quite small- the average Reef Dragon is about the size of a housecat. We are also bioluminescent, with several patterned patches of glowing scales all over our bodies. Mine tend toward the shape of hearts. These are useful not just for seeing, but also as an occasional stunning weapon if flashed all at once!

My beliefs tend towards the psychological, but are not necessarily set in stone. Nonhumanity is a curious thing, and who am I to say where it stems from for sure? Whether your beliefs on alterhumanity are psychological, spiritual, or more difficult to define, feel free to shoot me a message if you'd like to be friends! I'm interesting in getting to know everyone :)x

My preferred pronouns are ae/aer, they/them, and she/her. I hope we can be friends!
